Standard
Spool Type
|
Style 9030-Pressure Only |
Style 9060-Pressure and Vacuum |
|
This is the basic
expansion joint that fits the majority of applications. This style
can be adapted for many different applications, depending on service
conditions. Available with a filled arch* or open arch and in
variable face to face dimensions. Modification to standard design can
increase pressure and temperature ratings.

Multiple
Arch Type
|
Style 9030-Pressure Only |
Style 9060-Pressure and Vacuum |
|
For greater movement
where face to face dimensions are not limited. Same allowable
pressures as standard single arch. Highly flexible. To compute
permissable movement, multiply capacity of comparable single arch by
the number of arches. No more than four are recommended.

Eccentric
and Concentric Reducers
|
Style 9030-Pressure Only |
Style 9060-Pressure and Vacuum |
|
To connect flanges of different diameters, parallel or offset,
especially in centifugal pump installations. Available Variations:
Filled arch*, no arch, oversize arch, special linings, and
straight section on smaller end to insure bolt clearance. We can
provide tooling rapidly for special applications.

Wire-Reinforced Flexible Connectors |
Vibr Joint flexible
connectors insulate piping systems from vibration and the noise of
water hammer and pulsating equipment. The body is constructed of
multiple plies of high strength, rubberized fabric, reinforced with
spirally wound high tensile wire embedded in the wall. Liner and
flanges are high quality elastomers. Full faced flanges are integral
with the body. Standard lengths vary with pipe size. Recommended
length for effective vibration dampening is 18" face to face.
Also available with Navy Flanges for shipboard use. |

U.S.
Navy Expansion Joints Style 9090
In
Accordance with Mil. Spec. E 15330
Used
extensively aboard Navy ships, the style 9090 is similar in
configuration to the standard spool type, except that strict material
specifications for fire retardance are adhered to. In addition, Navy
flanges and drilling are different from standard commercial flanges.
La Favorite expansion joints have been installed on many U.S. Navy
combat and support vessels and because of their high quality, have
been specified for use on the world's largest nuclear powered
aircraft carriers. |
*Note:
A filled arch reduces movement limits by 50%
