Custom Molding La Favorite Ships Joints for USS Eisenhower La Favorite Industries continues in its tradition of providing the highest quality expansion joints for the US Naval Fleet. Since the companies beginning, La Favorite has enjoyed a good relationship with major shipbuilders. As a result of those relationships and the ability to build expansion joints that meet the mil specs required by the US Department of Defense, La Favorite continues to be awarded contracts for the refurbishing of, and construction of, Nimitz class Aircraft carriers built for the US Navy. Recently, La Favorite completed, on time, an order consisting of a number of expansion joints, in a variety of sizes from 28"ID to 46"ID. These joints were all hydro tested, inspected and approved by the shipyard prior to leaving the La Favorite manufacturing facility.
